IXPN is overseen by the IXPN Board comprising the CEO and six directors. The board is responsible for control of proper management of the IXPN. Current composition of the interim board, in which it has listed below the nine members including the NIX CEO, is made up of selected people from the IXPN setup committee and other stakeholders. Subsequently the directors will be elected by members at a general meeting.

IXPN Board of Directors: Chima Onyekwere (Chairman), Mohammed Rudman (IXPN CEO), Zubaida Rasheed, Sunday Afolayan, Sam Adeleke, Aminu Tijani, Chioke Ogugua, Akinwale Goodluck, K. R. Adeboye, Yen Choi and S. A. Ehikioya.

The IXPN CEO manages the daily operational duties for IXPN.

The Technical Committee assist the IXPN staff and advises the Board on technical matters relating to IXPN operations. The technical committee is presently made up of seven members including the IXPN CEO.
